why? I don't know

I heard something outstnading good about it, but i don't remember exactly...

one thing i know for sure - it's the most expensive of those 4 preamps... but maybe it's simply rare and that's why?

no, I read somewhere about the very good measured values (is that right in english?), if I'm right...

Get a Grundig SXV 6000. The XV 7500 is just the same chassis in another case. I didn't compare all part values and didn't measure, maybe (!) the 7500 has some better selected parts. But i don't hear and see any difference except the relocated power switch. The XV 7500 case is a bit higher but it's just filled with air. The chassis is flat and fits into the SXV 6000 case, too.

The prices for the XV 7500 are high because of the recommendation of a certain italian. He refuses to give technical explanations and uses the same argument to sell his own products, i consider it voodoo.

The MXV is also very good but with less functions. Another good preamp with higher case is the Grundig XV 5000.

What do you think about SV 2000 Amplifier? It seems to have good opinion as well...?

And V 1000 - front panel looks nice but the rear suggests this is some low end model....

SV 2000 is nice and heavy like a stone plate

I don't think a V 1000 is bad, but there's no reason not to get a V 2000 instead because the prices are similar.

I own the SXV 6000, the MXV 100 and the SV 2000 (the SV 2000 is a integrated amplifier, no preamp).

The SXV 6000 and the SV 2000 sound amazing good. I prefer the MXV 100. It is minimalistic and when it was compared with a Burmester preamp in HiFi-Exclusiv, there was only little difference - and the Burmester preamp is MUCH MORE expensive than the little Grundig preamp.

MXV 100 and Aurex SY-CT15 are at the same price
XV 7500 is twice as expensive (but is it twice as good....??? it's twice as big for sure...).

what about that AUREX...?
