Hallo,

mein erster Beitrag:

Habe einen Pioneer SA-710.
Das gute Stück ist ein Teil aus meinen HIFI-Anfängen und hat ein Problem.
Wenn ich ihn einschalte und es ist keine Tonquelle angeschlossen, schlagen die blauen Anzeigen aus und der Überlastungsschutz schaltet ab und wieder ein usw.
Vor ein paar Jahren lief er mal wieder, jetzt hat er das alte Problem wieder.

Wäre schade um das Schätzchen.
Sind evtl. die Elkos oder die Endstufe defekt.
Wer kann helfen LG aus FFM

Hi,

The output amplifier doesn't have any electrolytic capacitors at all except the input capacitors (C54/C54, 10uF/16V) and they wont cause something like this.
The meters react to the output-signal being interupted by the speaker-protection circuit in my opinion. The meter monitors the speaker-output, directly.
First I would check if the power-supply transistors Q28,Q29,Q30 have cracks in their solder-connections. Just re-solder to be sure.
Then I would check the protection-circuit and possibly replace all electrolytic capacitors in here (C88/C89/C75/0,47uF-50V C73/470uF-6V C74/100uF-25V)
If still not OK more possibilities are open. I would replace C33/C34/C84/100uF-35V and take a look at the power-supply cap's C81/C82/220uF-35V

Really impossible to say without knowing more about DC-voltages, AC-ripple on supply lines, Thermal stability (any component react to freeze-spray (Q13/Q14))
