Fehlermeldung bei Sony STR-DA50ES

This could be caused by several things.
The BIAS should be checked to see if it is within range. If it's too high the temperature within the output-stages will rise and probably cut-off the set.
Then there is the case of the defective Fan-Drive system. This model has a FAN that runs on 22Volt. Something could be wrong with either the supply or the drive circuit. The FAN itself could be drawing too much current because of a worn-out motor (a very normal fault in Technics receiver models)
This is not the easiest fault to locate for a novice. At least not without the service-manual. Here I may be able to help you if you PM me with your e-mail address.
