I'm not an audiophile like many others in this forum but even to my bronze or even copper ears :D, bose is junk. Have you not heard the saying... BOSE = Buy Other Sound Equipment.

Hi !

Some suggestion depending on your location:

Delhi - Marantz AVR + Boston / Tannoy Speakers
Banglore - Denon AVR + KEF speakers
Mumbai - NAD AVR + Monitor Audio / Mission Speakers

Hi !

I have Bostons for my HTS:

Fronts: CR 95
Surrounds & Rears: CR 65
Center: CRC
Sub: PV 500

Quite good for movies and fairly good for music too (though I have a separate stereo setup)

All of them are excellent choices except for the fact that Denon AVRs are simply not for music. They just simply dont do it. They are serious HT product though.
So for AVRs it would be Marantz or NAD for me + any of the speakers combo would be cool...Kef being my top choice in here (I havent heard Monitor Audio though)...

Marantz receivers and amps are officially available with warranty in bangalore now at Audioplanet. No use going for a denon if you want an entry level receiver.
