That was fantastic stuff ! Good reading. If a newbie goes through this article and understands what he says, it can save a lot of heartburn and money. Will gain years of knowledge too.
Thanks ARJ.

A good email audio friend shared this w/ me. I thouught that it was something really nice & it is the graphical version of the article that Arj pointed us to.
This tool looks difficult to use but w/ a little practise it's not too bad (atleast IMHO!)

FWIW.

This can really be something that is great when one goes over to someone's place for an audition. May take an hour or so to fill the details out, however very very good tool.

No need to work on the 'volume' here.
Too many other 'variables' that need to be looked at, rather 'heard'

Way to Go !!

well, I'm glad some of you like this tool. When I saw it 1st myself, I was also very happy. It seemed to be a comprehensive tool & like Manek said, if a bunch of us all use the same tool, it becomes easy to compare notes.
Thanks!

weel, i would say it would be discussing Notes My definition and expectation of timbre will never match your
But yes , it is very usefule as at least we will all have the same set of parameters to compare with..or else one person would argue about bass impact and the other about the lack of "air" and neither would have noticed the other aspect !
(Believe me it happens to everyone)
