Canton LE 109 oder LE 190 ??

Die Le 190 ist der Nachfolger der Le 109. Klanglich nehmen sich biede nicht viel.

die daten der neuen le serie sind genau die gleichen wie die vorgängerserie zum beispiel le 103 hat ein übertragungsbereich von 38-26000hz und eine nennleistung von 70w und die gleichen werte gibt es bei den le 130 auch. ich denke mal das canton nur das gehäuse innerlich verbessert hat da selbst äußerlich exact das gleiche gehäuse vorhanden ist. ich habe auch hier im forum schon gelesen das manche die vorgänger besser fanden. also ich würde auch die le 109 nehmen.

Stimmt nicht ganz, die Gehäuse haben sich sicher aussen Verändert, innen weiss ich es nicht.
Die Front ist jetzt gewölbt und um den Hochtöner hat es jetzt eine andere Form als bei der "alten" Serie. Das soll das Abstrahlverhalten verbessern. Es ist auch ein anderer bzw. verbesserter Hochtöner zum Einsatz gekommen, mit erweitertem Freuquenzbereich. Früher spielte die Box bis 26kHz, jetzt bis 30kHz.

I know that these things are new by the LE190 compared to the LE109:
- curved front for better sound irradiation
- new design around the tweeter (also for better sound irradiation)
- new tweeter with better frequency range (till 30kHz now instead of 26kHz by the LE109).

Maybe there are other new specifications i dont know.

I dont think that these are significant differences. I have never heard how good the LE190 play. But they look a bit better with the new front. But these are small details!

Ok, Thanks for the clear answers.. Nice that you all write it in german and in english!

I have decided for the LE 109 speakers! I have just ordered them for 349 Euro for a set. I think it's a decent price for these speakers and I have saved 100 a 150 euro's for not buying the LE 190.

I will invest this money in a better ampifier then my current Philips Dolby surround receiver (FR 966) which can only provide 60 Watt..

ps. the width of the LE109 is 23 CM and the width of the LE 190 is 22 CM. So they have changed the outside a bit..

Much fun with LE 109!
And this Price is very good. Here in Germany they cost 400 Euro.
