Hi All, my brother sent me this bit of unfortunate news: http://news.yahoo.co.../obit_oscar_petersonA big loss to the Jazz world. There are a number of us (myself included) who were/are great fans of OP. We will miss him a lot. However, we are very thankful for ALL the fantastic music he created for us to listen to. He left a superb legacy that we will continue to enjoy for many, many years to come.  May his soul rest his in peace......
