Ich habe grad in der "Bay" einen Technics erstanden .

Er dreht garnicht mehr !

Bevor ich auf Fehlersuche gehe oder ihn zum Fachmann bringe , wer hat einen Tip oder das Service Manual ?

Das Gerät hat eine Lichtschrankentechnik und dreht nur bei aufgelegter Platte , könnte der Fehler hier sein ?

Oder einfach ein Schalter der den Motor in Gang setzt ?

Ersatzteilspender für den Antrieb sind vorhanden .

Hi Gerrit,

I have a SL-Q33 myself and it's a VERY nice drive.
You should absolutely have it repaired in my opinion.
When I got mine I bought the service-manual as it wasn't available anywhere on the net. Unfortunately I received only a so-so quality photo-copy but it's still usefull.
I made a copy and send it to Vinylengine, so you are welcome to go there and download it:

It's difficult to say what's the problem with the drive. It can be anything from a dead Power regulator-IC to dried-up electrolytic capacitors. If you're out of luck it may even be a defective control-IC in which case the drive is only suitable for cannibalisation. At least you will now have the service-manual on hand if you venture inside

wow , thanks ! where you're from ?

I got a couple of Technics DD's in stock , only for cannibalism .

Yes i think it's a very comfortabel and nice player , i bought it for my girlfriend especialy in cause of the automatic function and the lift control "by wire" .

But i'm very hopefull to get him repaired , there are 3 totally different mechanics in my area for classic hifi .

I'll try them a all in a row .
