Dual 1219 hums quite a bit at the bottom around -35 dB
Is it worth cleaning the idler rubber wheels with the metal pair or should I buy a belt player?

Sorry, I can't speak Deutsch I will be short in English
I mistake because the problem is MM phono preamp not the turntable
Between two track was -35-40 dB noise level after MM phono. I was thinking about this effect of the LP player humming
Same recording in directly to Tascam DR100 (without preamp and RIAA) show -55-57 dB
This means that DR100 input amp unit much better than my tube MM phono stage. I have to contact with MM phono producer and clarify the reasons. PSU noise or other malfunction maybe

Hello,

If the DIN cable is still there, check that there is no cable break, it´s > 50 years old....
If in doubt, replace the cable from the muting switch (choose a coaxial cable with low capacity) and new RCA-plugs.
